Volunteering Opportunities at skipthetips.org
The need for skipthetips.org is growing. Volunteers help us achieve our goals and aims.
All of our volunteers are invaluable to our organisation and are greatly appreciated.
We are looking for volunteers to help us by:
* Supporting the running of our Social Enterprise shops
* Sending thank you letters to donators and organisations
* Organising and hosting quiz nights, raffles, race nights etc
* Boot sales and market stalls
Perhaps you prefer a more 'hands on' role, we are always looking for retired and/or unemployed trades people (painters, carpenters etc) to help us in the up-cycling and repair of furniture to sell in our store.
We are always interested to hear from potential volunteers or companies about skills and ideas they would like to share with us here at skipthetips.org
Whether you are retired, looking to gain confidence to return to work or are a tradesman who wants to help learn new skills, as a volunteer with skipthetips.org you will make a real difference to people's lives and futures.
One of the better known benefits of volunteering is the impact on the community. Unpaid volunteers are often the glue that holds a community together. Volunteering and dedicating their time as a volunteer will help people make new friends, expand their network and boost social skills.
Commitment, reliability and lot's of enthusiasm are the qualities we are looking for, and of course, the time to support us on a regular basis.
If you are interested in sharing your skills, expertise and experience please get in touch via our 'contact us' page.
